Privatni cloud poboljšava efikasnost, dostupnost i fleksibilnost usluga lokalne uprave
BEOGRAD, 6. septembar 2013. — ITDZ, IT centar gradske uprave Berlina, odabrao je bezbedno i fleksibilno HP Converged Cloud rešenje da unapredi efikasnost i dostupnost svojih IT usluga.
Duže od 40 godina, ITDZ obezbeđuje bezbednu IT infrastrukturu za prenos glasa i podataka za potrebe gradske uprave Berlina. Ova kompanija trenutno upravlja sa 942 kilometra gradske mrežne infrastrukture.
Veoma skalabilno privatno cloud okruženje će unaprediti pružanje postojećih servisa i omogućiti pokretanje potouno novih servisa elektronske uprave, kao što je goBerlin koji omogućava građanima da interakciju sa uslugama gradske uprave ostvare putem mobilnih uređaja. HP cloud okruženje će ITDZ-u omogućiti da gradskim ustanovama obezbedi infrastrukturu i platformu kao uslugu, a sistem je toliko bezbedan da je projekat goBerlin dobio sredstva od federalnog Ministarstva ekonomije u okviru “Trusted Cloud” inicijative.

HP će uz HP CloudSystem Enterprise sa VMware i HP Cloud Service Automation (CSA) softverom implementirati virtuelnu infrastrukturu i pružati podršku za nju. Time će pokretanje i upravljanje većim brojem cloud okruženja biti automatizovano, odnosno omogućiće da se ITDZ izbori sa fluktuirajućim zahtevima. Dostupni resursi se automatski dodeljuju na osnovu zahteva upućenih preko portala, a nakon završetka upotrebe vraćaju se u cloud, što poboljšava iskorišćenost hardvera i povećava fleksibilnost sistema. Ovaj aspekt je izuzetno važan jer je ITDZ data centar redovno izložen kratkoročnim vršnim opterećenjima. Na primer, ponedeljkom ili neposredno pre sezone odmora, veći broj ljudi završava različite administrativne poslove, pa IT odeljenja različitih ustanova tada traže više resursa nego obično.
HP CloudSystem Enterprise će istovremeno sniziti operativne troškove koje ITDZ ima zahvaljujući realizaciji energetski efikasne infrastrukture i visokog nivoa automatizacije. Manuelni procesi kao što su dodeljivanje resursa, instalacije na terenu i izdavanje hardvera, u potpunosti će biti eliminisani.
HP TippingPoint CloudArmour rešenje donosi integrisanu zaštitu za ITDZ cloud servise. Prevencija upada i virtuelni firewall pružaju najviše nivoe zaštite od pretnji za mrežu, aplikacije i virtuelne mašine.
